Michael Fried lectures at University of Toronto

Between March 24 and March 27, the influential art historian Michael Fried is delivering a series of 4 lectures at University College. Watch as sweaty, nervous grad students hit him with prepared questions whilst you smugly sit back.

White Squirrel

Two reasons that the new "White Squirrel" coffee shop on Queen West is deserving of praise. One, for finally acknowledging those amazing genetic aberrations that are the white squirrels of Trinity Bellwoods park. Second, for having the vision to take several utterly unmerchandised boxes of oak parquet flooring from our basement to have turned into table tops. Go there and buy some damned coffee. Hey Everybody! Just a few notes about the store:

Thanks first off to everyone who joined us on Friday for our design party. It was a hit, and we'd like to thank Bruno and Magic Pony for helping us with their installations. We had a top notch party with drinks, dj and designers.



Secondly, I wanted to add that we have even more vintage wallpaper brought in and its selling fast. If you want some, its $10 a roll, and is from Italy.

And finally, starting March 14th, Smash and Jerome Jenner Fine Art are starting screen printing classes. These classes are taught by Jeff Garcia and are taught on site in our new silk screen studio. Want to know more? Phone us!
